We worked with Bridget from Avanti Design House to come up the finish that would best suit the minimal sophisticated vibe of this new space. There was a lot of bespoke raw blonde timber cabinetry with clean geometric lines, so we wanted to create a feel that would look raw, yet classic and not be louder than the other elements in the room. The brief was to create a pleasing finish that was calming and comfortable for customers.
Products used
We used the Minotaur plaster product and we applied a colour wash that was a soft light fawn tint to marry perfectly with the timber in the room. The finish was applied with a textural pad and flexi rhombus trowel and the final coat finish was “The Therapist” penetrating water sealer, which does not change the colour or effect of the finish.
